A taxi driver has been hospitalised after a crash.
A silver taxi was in collision with the side of a black Toyota Prius 9.45 pm on Monday.
The incident happened at the junction between Longcroft Drive and Eleanor Cross Road, which connects Waltham Abbey and Waltham Cross.
The cab's front was completely destroyed and the other vehicle suffered extensive passenger side damage.
Paramedics described the cab driver, aged 47, as "conscious and breathing" at the scene before he was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow.
The other driver did not need hospital treatment.
