A 55-year-old man died from head injuries after his car collided with a lorry, a post-mortem has revealed.
The man, who police believe to be the driver of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene in Forest Road, Hainault, at 4.33am on Tuesday.
A Renault saloon car was turned on its side by the collision.
There were no reports of any other injuries.
The man's next of kin have been informed but formal identification has not taken place.
No arrests have been made.
