A motorcyclist has been hospitalised with a leg injury after a road collision outside a petrol station.
The East of England Ambulance Service were called at 8.30am, yesterday, to a road traffic incident by the BP petrol station in Sewardstone Road, Waltham Abbey.
Witnesses described seeing the biker, a man in his 20s, "catapulted" over the bonnet of a car pulling into the road.
An ambulance crew attended to treat the biker with a suspected leg injury before taking him to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
No other injuries have been reported.
