Volunteers will help freshen up tree bases with flowers and new compost.
A community group is seeking volunteers to help 'spring clean' a town centre.
The Highams Park Society, ward councillors and The Highams Park Plan are set to dig and clear all tree bases in the centre of Highams Park tomorrow before filling the bases in with compost and planting some winter bedding plants.
Some 1960s metal street signs will also be repainted by council staff in the afternoon.
The society are appealing for volunteers to help with the 'spring clean' which will ready the area for next season.
Volunteers are asked to meet in V & A Books and Gifts in The Avenue, Highams Park from 10am tomorrow.
Tools and gloves will be provided.
