A 57-year-old man has been jailed for breaking the conditions of an anti-social behaviour order.

Thomas Traynor will spend 42 days behind bars and has been ordered to pay a fine of £80.

Mr Traynor’s ASBO, in place across Waltham Forest, banned him from street drinking and acting in a way which may cause others distress.

The order has been in place since 2012, when he was let out of prison.

Since his release, Traynor is said to have ‘repeatedly’ breached the terms of the order.

In March 2012, Mr Traynor was one of three adults evicted from a house in Aldriche Way in Chingford after repeated anti- social behaviour complaints.

The three people living in the property had what police described as a "chaotic" lifestyle and caused problems in the area.

Mr Traynor was caught drinking in public on on February 11.

He was arrested and taken to Thames Magistrates Court, where he was handed his sentence the following day after pleading guilty to the offence.
