A nursery has encouraged children to learn about Chinese culture through arts and crafts.
Staff at Kids Inc Day Nursery in Friday Hill West, Chingford, celebrated Chinese New Year yesterday by encouraging children to get creative in the classroom.
To celebrate the Year of the Goat (or sheep), parents and children designed traditional Chinese lanterns and created their very own wholly sheep.
There is some confusion over this year's zodiac sign which stems from the Chinese character 'yang', which can translate in colloquial Chinese as either sheep or goat.
