A 20-year-old woman accused of being involved in an attempted bank robbery is due in court today.

The Leyton woman is one of three people charged with burglary after the Santander branch in Walthamstow High Street was targeted by a group on January 25.

An eyewitness said that around 20 police officers, some with dogs, attended the attempted robbery in the early hours of the morning.

Isaac Donovan, 28, of no fixed address, was remanded in custody and will next appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on March 6.

Daniel Farrugia, 24, of Rettington Way in Chingford, will also appear in court on the same day, but was released on conditional bail.

Update: All charges were dropped against the woman before court, the CPS has confirmed.
