A community disco centred on the theme of the hit Disney film Frozen and a comic book franchise was a "blinding success".
Fancy-dress party organiser Irene Bull, held the sell-out event at Chingford Assembly Hall in Station Road, Chingford, on Friday.
Most of the girls dressed as the popular fairytale Princess Elsa whereas the majority of boys opted for one of four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Ms Bull, said: "It was blinding success. I had a lot of good feedback from parents who are pleased these community events happen. It gives the kids a chance to let off some steam.
"It was nice to see a lot of fathers there who had come straight from work and overall, was a super evening."
Her next children's disco themed as 'Cinderella and Super Heroes' will take place on July 17 at Chingford Assembly Hall.
