Three people arrested in a police crackdown on drug dealing are set to appear in court.

The two men and one woman were three of 13 arrested following dawn raids that took place across Waltham Forest on February 11.

Officers from anti-gang units found a gun and cash as they rounded up suspects in the early hours of the morning.

Carmen Cservenka, of Poplars Road in Walthamstow, appeared at at Thames Magistrates' Court on February 12 charged with seven counts of possession with intent to supply and was bailed to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court today for a plea and case management hearing.

Gibril Abdi, 18, of Robinson Close in Leytonstone, appeared charged with four counts of possession with intent to supply.

He was bailed to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court today for a for a plea and case management hearing (PCMH).

Aleksis Kattai, 20, of Queens Road in New Cross, appeared charged with five counts of possession with intent to supply.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court today for a plea and case management hearing.

Ozlem Simsek, 18, of Leyton, charged with eight counts of possession with intent to supply, Phillip Laurence, of Enfield, charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply and Marek Lacko, 30, of Walthamstow, charged with four counts of possession with intent to supply, will appear in Snaresbrook Crown Court next month for sentencing.

A 17-year-old boy from Chingford, who is charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply, will appear at Thames Youth Court on April 7 for trial.

Andrew Moore, 29, and Salman Ahmed, 24, both of no fixed address, are yet to have court dates fixed.

Huseyin Simsek, 21, of Capworth Street in Leyton, will appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on February 27 charged with possession of a firearm and possession of a class B drug.

One man was released with no further action and two men were bailed pending further enquiries.
