The speed limit on the Bow Flyover is 30mph.
A man is to appear at court today accused of driving over 50mph in a 30mph zone.
Derick Ashok, 25, of Matcham Road, Leytonstone, was allegedly caught by transport police with a speed gun in Bow.
On October 14 last year at 4.35pm, Mr Ashok is accused of driving his Ford Mondeo at 52mph on the Bow Flyover, which has a speed limit of 30mph.
Mr Ashok will enter his plea today at Stratford Magistrates Court.
