A man is fighting for his life following a mass brawl outside a nightclub.

Two other men recieved facial injuries in the fight involving up to 20 men in High Street, Epping, near Club 195, at 2.50am yesterday.

A man, believed to be in his 20s from London, was taken to hospital with a head injury.

His condition is described as critical.

A police spokeswoman said two other men, one in his 20s and one in his 30s, received treatment in hospital for "puncture wounds" to the lower body and facial injuries.

In September, Epping Forest MP Eleanor Laing said she would push for nightclub opening hours to be restricted after a man was stabbed in the early hours in High Street.
