The poll which could see the £900K regeneration of a “forgotten green space” is closing today.
Redbridge council is hoping to secure funding for the “Riding the Roding” project in Wanstead, one of seven bids for funding for the Mayor of London's Big Green Fund.
If successful it would see the completion of the Roding Valley Way green cycle route, joining south and north sections in Wanstead making off road cycling possible from Newham, through Redbridge and up to Essex following the River Roding.
Plans have been backed by the Wren Wildlife and Conservation Group, which said it would help wildlife thrive in the river.
Voting closes today, but you can still cast your vote until this evening here.
The result is expected to be announced later this week.
