A man in his 20s was stabbed in the street in broad daylight.
The London Ambulance Service has today confirmed a man was seriously injured after being stabbed on Friday (February 27) at around noon.
Police closed a section of Coppermill Lane while officers searched front gardens in the area.
A police search dog was brought to the scene which was closed to the public for hours on Froday afternoon.
A spokeswoman for LAS said: “We were called to reports of a stabbing in Coppermill Lane at 11.55am.
“A man, believed to be in his 20s, was taken to hospital as a priority.”
Police are yet to comment on the incident.
Another man was stabbed around an hour later in Leytonstone.
