Police in Waltham Forest are appealing for help to identify two men after a man was stabbed as he was chased into a shop.
On Friday (February 27) a man was walking in West Street, Leytonstone, when he was approached by a group of between four or five men.
Following an altercation, the victim was chased back along West Street towards High Road, where he was punched, causing him to fall to the ground.
The victim ran into the Noted pie and mash shop, on the corner of West Street, where he discovered a small stab wound to his upper leg.
Emergency services were called and London Ambulance Service treated the victim at the scene.

Deputy manager of the shop Les Shields and his staff looked after the victim in the back of the shop.
The first suspect is described as black, around 18 to 21 years old, possibly of Somali origin, wearing a black puffa style body warmer and black gardening gloves.
Suspect two is described as black, aged between 18 and 21 and wearing a dark tracksuit.

No arrests have been made.
