A man wanted by Polish authorities in relation to a string of robberies, burglaries and assaults has appeared in court.

Janusz Kedziora, 28, was arrested on a European Arrest Warrant at around 1pm on Wednesday (March 4) at an address in Staffa Road, Leyton.

Kedziora is wanted by Polish authorities in relation to actual bodily harm, criminal damage, robbery, attempted robbery and burglary between 2005 and 2007.

He is due to serve a 10 year prison sentence in Poland.

An appeal on the whereabouts of Kedziora, who also goes under the name Michal Krawczyk, was reported by the Guardian along with details of a number of men being sought under European Arrest Warrants on Wednesday (March 4).

He appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court yesterday, where he has been remanded in custody to appear at the same court again on March 12.
