A group of sixth form students have been given a taste of university life.
The Year 12 group from West Hatch High School in Chigwell travelled to Emmanuel College, Cambridge, on Wednesday this week to find out more about the university and academic life.
The students chose from a selection of taster lectures, and were given talks on how to choose subjects and apply for courses.
Although the day was based at Emmanuel College there were also academics from the University of Oxford and University College London, and the students were given opportunities throughout the day to ask questions.
