A charity which grants wishes for terminally ill children has been selected as the partner for this year’s Duke of Essex Polo event.
The Dream Factory, which was set up by Avril Mills of Epping in 2008 following the death of her son, Oliver, will be the charity partner at this years event, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary at The Willows in Hainault on July 11.
The charity, which has fulfilled 320 dreams in the last seven years, will be hosting various fundraising activities and a charity auction in the VIP enclosure throughout the day.
Ms Mills said: “We are delighted to have been chosen as the official charity partner and look forward to a great day.
“We rely on fundraising to enable us to make so many dreams come true and with more than 60 requests being worked on we really need funds.
“We look forward to being able to further our work thanks to this wonderful opportunity for us to raise money and highlight our work.”
