Sarah Boud is the Chair of the Wanstead Playground Association which is currently crowdfunding to raise money for the playground in Christchurch Green in Wanstead.
She believes the playground is in desparate need of renovation with outdated and badly designed equipment.
The crowdfund is over halfway to its target of £13,000.
