Paramedics treated the motorcyclist for a broken arm
A motorcyclist was hospitalised after coming off his bike.
A man, in his 30s, broke his arm in the incident on the A414 between Ongar and North Weald at 5.50pm, which closed the busy road in both directions.
He was then taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow for further treatment.
The road was closed between Bobbingworth Mill and Blake Hall Road for several hours as he was examined.
