Police have released CCTV of a man they would like to question over an attempted car theft.
The suspect is wanted for vehicle interference at the Holiday Inn Express car park in Walthamstow Avenue, Chingford, on January 29.
Damage was caused to a white Citroen van in an attempt to force entry.
The owner returned to the van at around 6.30pm to find the lock barrel removed and the door handle hanging off. Nothing was reported stolen.
CCTV taken from the Holiday Inn hotel shows the man standing by another vehicle in the car park.
