Anastasia Reynolds reached the quarter-final stage with her team from Bristol University
A team led by a student from Leytonstone was knocked out of the BBC quiz University Challenge at the quarter-finals stage last night.
Anastasia Reynolds captained the team from the University of Bristol, where she studies Czech and Russian.
Her team were beaten by Magdalen College, Oxford, in the programme hosted by Jeremy Paxman by 250 points to 115.
