A man was hospitalised after falling from his bike on Sunday.
Paramedics were called to the scene in Hobbs Cross Road, Epping and around 11.30am following reports of a man in his 40s falling from a bicycle.
A rapid responce vehicle, one ambulance and an air ambulance attended the scene.
The man, who was initially not fully alert, was treated at the scene for head injuries.
He was taken by ambulance to the major trauma centre at King George's Hospital.
