A fun day is being held in a bid to grant the wishes of terminally ill children.

The Marriott Hotel in Old Shire Lane, Waltham Abbey will host the fun day between 11am and 3pm on Sunday (March 29) to raise money forchildren's charity, The Dream Factory, which was set up in 2008 by Epping resident Avril Mills.

The day is set to offer face painting, a DJ and a raffle as well as visits from staff at the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, West Essex Golf Club, TopGolf, Lee Valley Park, Swimming Nature and Epping Ongar Railway.

Avril Mills said: "We are extremely happy that we are still working with The Waltham Abbey Marriot and I am privileged that I will be running a raffle.

"We are hoping to make enough to grant more dreams, also this gives us a chance to create more awareness about our lovely charity."
