The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Fire fighters tackled a blaze at a pub last night.
The Essex County Fire and Rescue crew were called to the scene at the Two Brewers pub in Lambourne Road, Chigwell, at around 9.30pm following reports of a fire breaking out in a utility room.
The pub was evacuated while crews dealt with the incident, which saw the whole of the first floor heavily smoke logged.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel to tackle the fire and a high pressure fan to clear the building of smoke.
There were no casualties.
