A thief is due be sentenced today after admitting stealing £900 of meat, alcohol and baby food.
Dean Elliot, 33, repeatedly stole from Sainsbury’s in Church Lane, Leytonstone, in November and December 2014 and in January and February 2015.
Elliot, of Terling Close in Leytonstone, also took £270 of power tools from Homebase in Leytonstone in October 2014.
On March 5 he pleaded guilty to nine counts of theft.
He also admitted common assault in Sainsbury’s.
He is due to be sentenced today via prison video link at Thames Magistrates Court.
