Children handed over £1,328 to a cancer charity this morning after a successful fundraising drive.
The money was raised during the Great Daffodil Appeal, held by charity Marie Curie throughout March, by pupils and parents at Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, in Chestnut Drive, Wanstead.
Earlier this month, pupils each took home a pot to grow a daffodil, which have now been planted in a garden on the school grounds.
A cake sale was also held.
