A decision will be made tomorrow on a controversial bid to convert a former care facility into five homes.
Neighbours, councillors and a residents’ association have objected to the plans for Forest Lodge in Hartley Road, Leytonstone, calling it an ‘overdevelopment’ of the site.
Councillors Marie Pye and Clyde Loakes are among objectors, who criticised the design and a predicted loss of sunlight to neighbouring properties.
Developer Miss Catriona Jones plans to turn the building into one three-bedroom home, one two- bedroom flat and three one-bedroom flats.
