People are invited to take a walk on the wild side in a new series of free nature rambles this Spring.

Waltham Forest council’s upcoming ‘Spring Walks’ have been arranged following the well-attended Winter walks held in February.

Conducted by Wild Capital, the three wildlife-themed walks will take in the natural sights in the borough.

The first will be held on April 15 and will start from Highams Park play area before heading into Epping Forest.

The next day on April 16 ramblers will meet at the ranger’s office in Ridgeway Park, Chingford to explore Mansfield Parks and Pimp Hall Nature Reserve.

The final walk on April 17 will take participants from the ranger’s office in Coronation Gardens, Leyton to Leyton Jubilee Park.

All walks start at 10am and last between two to three hours.
