EPPING Forest District Council is preparing a booklet on business continuity that will give guidance on how to prepare for emergencies like a flu pandemic.
District Council emergency planning officer Mike Tipping spoke about the booklet at a briefing by the Crime and Disorder Reduction Team. It is expected to be available to businesses in the district later this year for a nominal cost.
Mr Tipping said: "It will contain basic information on things businesses can do, common sense things they can do to help improve their resilience."
He added business continuity "is going to figure highly on the emergency planning agenda for the forseeable future".
