Police have released CCTV images of a woman they wish to speak to in connection with an assault on a deaf homeless woman.
British Transport Police (BTP) is appealing for the public’s help after the 33-year-old was attacked at the entrance to Wanstead Tube station last month.
Officers wish to speak to the woman pictured in connection with the incident, which took place around 8.30pm on February 28.
BTP said its officers were on the scene in a matter of minutes but the suspect had already left the station.

PC Elspeth Cook said: “The victim was at the entrance to Wanstead Tube station when she was physically attacked by a woman.
“The aggressor left the scene, making her way into the station and down the escalators with a man.
“I need to know who this woman is, as I believe she holds vital information about what happened that evening.
“If you know who she is, or have any other information that could help, please get in touch.
“This was a seemingly unprovoked assault on a vulnerable member of the community.
"The person responsible needs to be caught and held to account for their actions.”
A homeless woman was attacked outside Wanstead Tube station on February 28.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting reference T/B2 of 30/03/2015.
