A 20-YEAR-OLD man on his way home from work in Wanstead was surrounded and robbed by a gang who held a screwdriver to his throat.
Police are looking for witnesses to the attack which took place in Leicester Road just after 10.20pm on Sunday, February 18.
The gang took a wallet containing £150 in cash and the man's mobile phone before ordering him to run off. The attackers are thought to have made off on foot towards Wanstead High Street.
All four are believed to be around 20-years-old, black, and wearing dark clothes. One was about 5ft 8ins tall with a medium build wearing a blue NY baseball cap, another was around 6ft tall wearing a black flat cap, the third was also about 6ft tall and was wearing a dark coloured hooded top, while the fourth was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit.
