Primary school pupils have raise £524 for charity to mark World Down's Syndrome Day.
Students at Lambourne Primary School in Hoe Lane, Abridge, staged the event on Friday in aid of charity Upwards with Downs.
The four to 11-year-olds hosted a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-themed cake sale and were sponsored to wear ‘crazy socks’ to school.
Head Teacher Sarah Noden said: “Thank you to everyone for supporting this event and a special thank you to Mrs Stone for the work she did to organise this.
“We raised an incredible £524.29 and we are very pleased.”
