A golfing range is set to host its first celebrity match to raise money for a children's hospice.

Topgolf in Abridge Road, Chigwell, is set to host the 'Topgolf Masters' competition, which will see Arsenal's Perry Groves, Tottenham Hotspur's Micky Hazard and West Ham's Tony Cottee manage teams in a triangular tournament, on June 4.

The contest, which will see three teams of 20 battle for the trophy, is being held in hopes of raising money for children's hospice Haven House.

The evening will also consist of a silent auction, a raffle, a celebrity question and answer and the sale of specially commissioned prints.

Topgolf event manager Jim Nicholson said: "It doesn’t matter if you’re a keen golfer or someone who has never even held a golf club before, the Topgolf Masters is open to everyone and above all it’s easy to play.

"We are supporting local charity Haven House Children’s Hospice and have some quality prizes up for grabs.

"The Topgolf Masters will be competitive and great fun."
