A school celebrated World Autism Awareness Day by dressing in pink and purple.
Children and staff donned the colours of the National Autistic Society today (April 1) at Beal High School, in Woodford Bridge Road, Clayhall.
They have been raising money for the charity with cake sales and other activities held throughout the day.
Autism is a complex disorder in brain development which causes difficulties in social interaction, communication and repetitive behaviours.
