Police have renewed an appeal in the hope of finding a motor home and trailer containing rare antiques.

Officers were called to Faversham Close, in Chigwell, on March 9 after the three-year-old German Deffleffs motor home, white trailer and antiques, valued at around £90,000, were stolen between 8pm on Sunday evening and 7am that morning.

The antiques were left in the trailer while owner Kim Sandwell, 57, slept in his sick mothers house where he was staying for the night to care for her before heading back to his home in France.

The items had been collected over a number of years and included paintings, wooden chests and vases.

Essex Police are asking anyone who may have seen these items or been offered them for sale to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Some of the items stolen can be seen, here.
