Voters will have the chance to question candidates ahead of next month's General Election.

Churches Together are set to host the question and answer event with all six Epping Forest candidates at St Mary's Church on April 20.

Residents will have the opportunity to quiz the local representatives on both national and local issues at the meeting.

UKIP's Andrew Smith, Green Party's Anna Widdup, Eleanor Laing for the Conservatives, Labour's Gareth Barrett, Jon Whitehouse for Liberal Democrats and the Young People's Party's (YPP) Mark Wadsworth will all be present.

Questions to be asked at the event, which will start at 8pm, can be submitted in advance, here.

Community Church Leader Ian King said: "As local churches, we want to serve the local community the best that we can.

"So we're excited about the opportunity to host these hustings and to question the candidates standing in the forthcoming election, giving local people the chance to hear each one individually and decide who is best equipped to represent us in Parliament."
