The works will begin on Friday.
M11 embankment repairs are set to cause major disruption overnight this weekend.
The works, which are being out by the Highways Agency, are set to see the M11 northbound close one lane between junction 5 for Loughton and junction 6 for the M25 starting on Saturday.
Works will be underway to repair and maintain a damaged section of embankment.
The closure will see the lane shut between 10pm and 5am until Monday (April 20).
