Two men were arrested when a knife was found after the car they were travelling in was pulled over by police.
The men, aged 24 and 30, were arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon yesterday (April 15).
Police on patrol in Chingford Mount Road began pursuing the vehicle at around 2.45am.
The car was stopped in nearby Genever Close and a knife seized.
Both men were arrested at the scene and remain in custody at an east London police station.
