A student is through to the semi finals of ITV talent show Britain’s Got Talent.
Michael McNeish, 18, who studied at West Hatch High School in High Road, Chigwell, was selected on Saturday (April 18) by Ant and Dec to receive one of five ‘golden buzzers’ which send the act straight through to the live shows.
The teenager, who studied A-Level Dance at the Chigwell school where he achieved an A*, performed as part of five piece dance group ‘Boyband’.
Rachael Minister, dance teacher at West Hatch said: “Words cannot describe how proud I am of Michael.
“I always knew he would be a star, he is one of the most talented dancers I have ever had the privilege of working with.
“I know that whatever happens Michael is a star in the making.”
