Nicholas Henryanto to represent Team GB in Tae Kwon-Do
A 13-year-old has been selected to represent Team GB at an international martial arts competition.
Nicholas Henryanto, who is in Year 8 at St Bonaventure's in Forest Gate, has been studying Tae Kwon-Do since he was 8.
The Leyton youngster attends the Manor Park TaeKwon-Do club who meet in St Barnabas Church in Saint Barnabas Road, Walthamstow.
Nicholas' talents were recognised by Pat Houlihan at the club who put his name forward for additional training and competitions when he recognised something “special”in him.
He has now been selected to represent Team GB on June 23 in the 13-17 age group of the Open World Championships in Rimini, Italy.
