Mr Marku was pronounced dead after being found stabbed in the Dolce Vita bar and restaurant in Lea Bridge Road
A 43-year-old man will appear at the Central Criminal Court tomorrow charged with murder.
Hysni Avdyli, 43, of Greenleaf Road in Walthamstow, was arrested on Friday (April 17) on suspicion of killing Asim Marku, 34 in Leyton.
Mr Marku was found in the Dolce Vita bar and restaurant in Lea Bridge Road, Leyton at 9.50pm on Thursday (April 16) and pronounced dead at the scene at 10.38pm.
Avdyli appeared in Thames Magistrates Court yesterday, April 20.
The case was sent to crown court.
Mr Avdyli has been remanded in custody and has not indicated a plea.
