A boutique door was broken in half during a burglary.
Police were called yesterday (April 26) morning to the scene at Glitz and Bitzs homeware and gifts in Arlingham Mews, Waltham Abbey following reports of a break-in.
Thieves are believed to have smashed the glass and wooden door before entering the shop and stealing a three-figure sum of cash at around 3.15am.
No stock was stolen during the robbery.
Shop owners have passed CCTV onto police and forensic teams have scanned the shop for fingerprints.
Anyone who witnessed the break-in or has any further information is asked to call Essex Police on 101.
