A synagogue celebrated the 67th anniversary of Israel this weekend.
Rabbi Richard Jacobi led the service to commemorate the occasion on Saturday at Woodford Liberal Synagogue, Marlborough Road, South Woodford.
After the service the community was treated to an Israeli finger food buffet and cake.
Merle Muswell joint vice- chair said: "It was fantastic to see the Shul full of people of all age ranges. Such a super atmosphere."
