A hospital trust will find out whether it has been taken out special measures this month, it has been announced.

Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospital NHS Trust (BHRUT) was inspected between March 2 and 6 by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The trust, which runs King George Hospital in Goodmayes and Queen’s Hospital in Romford, was placed in special measures by the CQC after a damning report in December 2013 found failings in care.
