An investigation has been launched into a fire which destroyed a derelict house.
London Fire Brigade were called to the fire in Five Oaks Lane, Chigwell, at 9.50pm on Sunday (May 3).
Five fire engines and 31 firefighters from Hainault, Romford, Dagenham and Ilford attended.
The blaze took three hours to extinguish.
Both floors, a garage and a heating oil tank next door were destroyed.
There were no casualties.
