An annual village tradition has been cancelled after 34 years because not enough people agreed to take part.
The Theydon Bois Open Garden Day has featured private gardens opened to the public on the last Sunday in June each year.
Theydon Bois Parish Council made the decision to cancel the event because “the committee were unable to find sufficient gardens that were prepared to be open this year”, after a drop in participants in 2014.
The council added it hopes Open Garden Day will return for the 35th time in 2016.
