David Beckham yesterday made one of his regular visits to his favourite pie and mash shop.
The Leytonstone-born former England captain, who grew up in Chingford, has been a loyal customer at Tony's Pie and Mash in Market Square, Waltham Abbey, for more then 15 years.
Beckham ordered two pies, two mash and a pot of jellied eels at around 3pm.
Restaurant manager Tony Lane said: "We get on really well.
"David's been coming here for around 15 years and it is nice as he is always a friendly face.
"He is a top bloke, really class."
