A man suffered a head injury as violence broke out in a pub.
Police closed the Lord Palmerston pub in Palmerston Road, Walthamstow, after the brawl started at 8pm last night (May 17).
A 42-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of causing grievious bodily harm.
The police cordoned off the pub as first aid was given to an injured man in an ambulance outside.
He was then taken by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
The man's injury was not believed to be life threatening.
There were no weapons recovered at the scene.
