A memorial football tournament will be held this weekend to raise money in memory of a Walthamstow man who died after collapsing during a training session.
Suhail Butt, also known as Sid, played for Hale End AFC, based at Wadham Lodge in Walthamstow.
The 47-year-old collapsed during a session and died in hospital on November 28, 2014.
Team mates and friends of the father-of-three have vowed to keep his memory alive, labelling him a "true gentleman".
Suhail Butt was described as one of the 'nicest ever' players at Hale End FC
Mr Butt, who was living in Enfield at the time of his death, played for the team on and off from the age of 19.
The first ever Suhail Butt Memorial event will be held on Sunday (May 24) at Wadham Lodge in Kitchener Road, Walthamstow.
The event will kick off at 12.30pm with a tournament for the teams and entertainment for visitors.
A bar and barbeque will be running alongside face painting and a bouncy castle for children.
All proceeds will go to Haven House Children Hospice in Woodford Green.
