A police helicopter was scrambled as thieves carried out yet another daylight burglary.
Officers were called to Centre Drive in Epping at around 3.20pm on Wednesday (May 20), following reports of two men acting suspiciously.
Police attended and found that thieves had broken into a house by smashing a rear window.
Jewellery was taken in the burglary.
The area was searched by foot and with the assistance of the helicopter, but no-one was found.
The burglary follows two daylight house raids in Upper Swaines on Monday (May 18).
